Master Jun Hong Lu was born in 1959 into a Shanghai family steeped in culture and art. It is a family of status and intellect. He was raised in a family environment rich in culture and Buddhism. Due to his father's Buddhist affinity, Master Lu had the chance to be taught by esteemed and greatly virtuous monastics and lay practitioners. A strong affinity for Buddhism thus took root in his heart, so did a deep foundation for traditional culture.
After arriving in Australia in 1989, the compassionate Master Lu had been visiting nursing homes to feed the lonely elderly over many years, rain or shine. In 1997, he began working at a Chinese-language radio station. Not doing it for money or fame, and with the blessing of Guan Yin Bodhisattva, Master Lu worked late into the night on his live radio program, patiently answering questions from callers and Buddhists friends.
In 2007, starting from scratch, he established 2OR Australia Oriental Radio to promote Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. Every desk and chair in the radio station was assembled by himself. He spent countless days and nights working at the radio station, sometimes even staying awake through the night.
Master Lu never turned away any Buddhist friend who sought help or advice; he asked for nothing in return. He would even give lifts to those who had no means of transport. The Buddhist scriptures were given away free of charge, and they were all hand-written and transcribed by him. For those who came from afar, Master Lu took care of their meals, clothing, accommodation and transport.
Countless true stories relay those touching and heart-warming moments. Master Lu's life was blended into the lives of sentient beings. His unwavering dedication had remained the same for several decades.
His authenticity and sincerity can be found in the ordinary course of events. It is Master Lu's consistent genuineness and sincerity towards Buddhist friends and his radio show listeners, along with his compassion and selflessness, that won him the love and esteem of millions of followers.
He renounced the comfort of family life, status, fame and wealth, and founded the radio station to promote Buddhism just for this one goal —to get predestined beings around the world to recite the Great Compassion Mantra and the Heart Sutra.
In the last ten years, the number of attendees to his Dharma Conventions grew from hundreds to tens of thousands. But behind the glory was Master Lu's years of painstaking effort, as well as his compassionate giving and devotion.
He was extremely thrifty with himself, to the extent of being frugal. He worked tirelessly without any day off, neglecting food and sleep. He often worked till 4am before taking a rest.
He never gave up on his disciples, never stopped giving them guidance. He'd reprimand them sternly just to awaken them to their true nature, for the purpose of delivering them from suffering and ensuring the continuity of their spiritual life.
Master Lu was compassionate and tolerant of all beings, showing great care for them. He was never tired of relieving them of suffering and hardship. He was even ready to sacrifice his life to light up the path home for sentient beings.
Though his physical body succumbed to exhaustion due to years of hard work, Master Lu would always present the best of himself to sentient beings and keep the misery to himself.
From 2010 to 2020, within a short span of 10 years, Master Lu had travelled nonstop to over 30 countries and regions throughout the world.
He had held over 100 Dharma Conventions in Europe, the Americas, the Oceania and Asia. Because of Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, countless Buddhists were freed from suffering and turned over a new leaf. They overcame their problems related to family, career and health. By practising altruism, they gained spiritual liberation and the elevation of their spirituality.
Since time immemorial, many esteemed and virtuous monastics and Buddhist Masters had paid a high price in their lives, and gone through untold hardships and dangers for the sake of the continuity of sentient beings' spiritual life.
Following in the footsteps of the Buddha, Guan Yin Bodhisattva and the esteemed Buddhist Masters, Master Lu had devoted all his life in this Age of Dharma Decline and Five Turbidities to bringing to light the sublime truth of life and the universe, and bringing the Buddha-dharma into the hearts of ordinary people.
Master Lu inherited Guan Yin Bodhisattva's compassion and benevolence. When sentient beings were in distress, he would never hesitate to give a helping hand. From babies and school children to the elderly, he showed his love and care with equality.
Master Lu brought the Buddhist ideal of peace into the limelight on the world stage. He spoke at UNESCO headquarters on several occasions to promote world peace with the Buddhist philosophy of non-violence. His message and effort were widely recognised by the international community.
62 years of life's journey and 24 years of propagating the Dharma bespeak the emergence and growth of a Dharma Door. They also chronicle the hardships and sacrifices of the founder of the Buddhist practice.
Master Lu put into practice Guan Yin Bodhisattva's compassion. His advice and guidance, and unparalleled compassion have melted the hearts of sentient beings. His humility, compassion, tolerance, acceptance and his noble character illuminate all in the Human Realm.
‘The Buddha-dharma is found in the world; No one is able to be enlightened out of the world. To find Bodhi out of the world is like looking for a rabbit with horns.’

Master Lu once said, ‘Attaining Buddhahood is for the benefit of sentient beings, not for the benefit of an individual.’
Master Lu came to this world for the sake of sentient beings, as he departed from this world. But he has never left us.
Master Lu will forever remain in the hearts of sentient beings. He left behind innumerable stories that speak of his compassion. Importantly, he left behind the Buddhist wisdom which would go down to posterity.
Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door is spreading Guan Yin Bodhisattva's compassion. It will definitely be passed on from generation to generation for the benefit of all.

廿载弘法利生，舍身广传大乘，慈悲妙法示现，点亮众生心灯。
卢军宏台长于1959年出生于上海的一个文化艺术世家、书香门第，自幼深受祖辈浓厚的文化与佛学熏陶，因父亲的因缘，孩提时代即有幸结缘并受教于高僧大德，心灵深处奠定了深厚的佛缘与传统文化的根基。
1989年赴澳洲之后，心怀慈悲的卢台长即多年风雨无阻坚持奔赴养老院为孤寡老人喂饭。
1997年开始在澳洲的华人电台，他不为名利，在观世音菩萨的庇佑下，于午夜时分仍然在直播节目中耐心解答佛友听众的问题。
2007年他白手起家创办了澳洲东方华语电台，广弘心灵法门。
当时电台的一桌一椅都是他亲手组装制作，数不清的日日夜夜他都在电台里通宵达旦。
上门求助的佛友，他有求必应，无偿救度；交通不便的听众，他亲自开车接送；免费结缘的经文，也是他亲自手写誊抄；远道而来佛友的衣食住行，他无不关照过问……
数不清的感人情节，道不完的动人故事，卢台长的一生皆是融入众生之中，数十年从未改变。
平凡之处见真情，卢台长正是靠着长久如一的真心真诚对待佛友与听众，凭借一颗慈悲无我之心而成就了如今千万佛友的爱戴与追随。
他放弃优渥的家境与地位名利，创办电台弘扬佛法，只为一个心愿——“要让全世界的有缘众生都能够念诵大悲咒和心经”。
十年间，从无到有，从几百人的法会，到几万人的法会，辉煌的背后，是卢台长数十年如一日的慈悲付出与呕心沥血。
他对待自己，极其节俭，甚为严苛，兢兢业业，终年无休，废寝忘食，常常工作到凌晨四点才休息；他对弟子，谆谆教诲，从不舍弃，纵作“师子吼”，亦只为其能够明心见性，救度众生，延续慧命；他对众生，无限慈悲包容，关怀备至，为众生消业拔苦从无疲厌，甚至燃烧身命，只为照亮众生回家之路。
纵然肉身常年过度透支、疲惫不堪，他却永远将最好的一面给予众生，把一切苦难留给自己。
自2010年至2020年，短短十年时间，卢军宏台长马不停蹄在全世界三十多个国家地区，举办了上百场弘法演讲，足迹遍及欧洲、美洲、大洋洲、亚洲，无数佛友因为心灵法门而离苦得乐，弃恶从善，家庭、事业、健康问题得以化解，在无我利他中获得心灵的超脱与境界的提升。
古往今来，历代高僧大德和祖师们，无不付出生命代价，在人间皆历尽艰难险阻，只为延续众生的法身慧命。
卢军宏台长追寻佛陀、观世音菩萨与先祖大德之脚步，在五浊恶世的末法时期，不惜身命，妙法揭示人生宇宙的真谛，令佛法真正走入了寻常百姓的心田。
他传承观世音菩萨的慈悲仁爱精神，众生有难之时，他毫不吝惜伸出援手。下至幼儿学童上至耄耋老人，他平等无碍，施以恩慈。
他令佛法的和平理念在国际社会熠熠生辉，在联合国教科文组织多次发言，以佛法的和谐无争推动世界和平，广受认可。
六十二载人生之路，二十四载弘法历程，见证了一个法门的诞生与弘传，也记载了一个人间大德、开山宗师的艰辛与舍命奉献。
他践行观世音菩萨的慈悲，春风化雨，慈悲大爱，真正融化了众生的心灵。他谦逊慈悲，海纳百川的高尚情怀，高山仰止，普照人间。
“佛法在世间，不离世间觉，离世觅菩提，恰如求兔角。”
